       Evonik and Fuhua partner to produce and market

       hydrogen peroxide in China

          Leading peroxide manufacturer,
       Evonik, and major Chinese chemi-
       cals  producer, Fuhua  Tongda  Chemi-
       cals  Company, have  signed  a  license
       agreement  for Fuhua to build  an in-
       dustrial-grade hydrogen peroxide plant
       with a capacity of 200-ktpa in Leshan,
       Sichuan Province, using Evonik’s
       know-how. Furthermore, both partners
