All local and imported oils remain steady

Steady trends prevailed in the
market during the past week under
review. All local and imported
oils remained at the previously
reported levels. Comparing the
prices of some of the oils over the
same period last year, groundnut
is cheaper by 19% and sunfl ower
is up by a percent. Rapeseed is
costlier by 16% and linseed is up
by 6%. Sesame is cheaper by over
4%. Castor is cheaper by 6%, while
cottonseed is cheaper by 4%.
