The event was held on the theme of
‘Empowering youth for a sustainable
future’ with various panel discussions
and presentations highlighting the
young generation’s role in reaching
sustainability and digitalisation targets.

‘Solutions Xchange’, a knowledge-
sharing platform held in parallel with
the Forum, saw sponsors and exhibitors
come together to address industry chal-
lenges and discover practical solutions.
The GPCA Procurement Symposium,
and Sustainability District, were the
other co-located events.

Soln Xchange The Forum also witnessed the pre-
sentation of the 5th GPCA Legacy
Award “Al-Rowad” to Mr. Hamad
Rashid Al-Mohannadi, the former
Chairman of QAPCO. Launched in
2017, the award honours individuals
who have made extraordinary contribu-
tions to foster and strengthen the chemi-
cal industry in one or more of the GCC
states. Mr. Al-Mohannadi was presented
with a special trophy by Mr. Al-Kaabi in
the presence of Mr. Al-Fageeh and other
dignitaries. Mr. Al-Mohannadi was recog-
nised for his lifetime achievements and
outstanding contributions to developing
and growing Qatar’s petrochemical in-
dustry and putting QAPCO on a path of
5th GPCA Legacy Awardee – Hamad Rashid Al-Mohannadi internationally acclaimed success.
