          Germany’s Thyssenkrupp Uhde has

       Grupa Azoty, to supply a new 1,500-tpd
       ammonium nitrate neutralisation plant
       in Tarnow, Poland.

          The new plant will be based on the
       natural circulation process and produce
       liquid ammonium nitrate (AN)  from
       low pressure  ammonia and aqueous
       nitric acid.  The process  will ensure
       precise control of  the reaction para-
       meters for highly effi cient and sustain-
       able plant operation.
          For  this  project, Thyssenkrupp
       Uhde will be responsible for the licens-
       ing, basic  engineering  and supply of
       the process equipment,  as well as for
       technical consulting services  for  the
