In-cosmetics Asia attracts strong international

participation

n-cosmetics Asia, the leading
trade show focussed on personal
Icare ingredients, concluded in
Bangkok, Thailand, with record-
breaking visitor numbers and 40%
international attendance, compared
to 32% in 2022, according to figures
released by event organiser, Reed
Exhibitions.

The trade show featured 581 per-
sonal care ingredient exhibitors and
over 11,700 visitors, with 40% com-
ing from outside Thailand – the high-
est in the Bangkok show’s history.

Exhibitors included industry
giants and the world’s top 10 suppli-
ers including BASF, Dow, Croda,
Evonik, Solvay, Clariant, Ashland,
Lubrizol, Momentive, and DSM-Fir-
menich.

The show featured leading speak-
ers and experts from the likes of
Mintel, Euromonitor, and others, present-
ing on a wide range of topics during
the Marketing Trends & Regulations
sessions, Formulation Lab presenta-
tions, Technical Seminars, as well as
Spotlight On Seminars. These pre-
sentations delved into trends, regula-
tions, and techniques across skincare,
haircare, suncare, and sustainable
beauty, offering attendees a compre-
hensive understanding of the evolv-
ing personal care landscape.

The ‘Spotlight On’ showcase on
the show floor placed significant em-
phasis on sustainability and haircare,
reflecting the industry’s growing
commitment to eco-friendly practi-
ces. In addition to the display of in-
gredients aligning with these themes,
