Cropex’s new Mandya facility expands speciality fertilisers and micronutrients production

Cropex Ltd., a Bengaluru-based speciality plant nutrition company, has recently commissioned a new manufacturing facility spread across nearly 20,000 square feet at Mandya, Karnataka. The facility adds dedicated production lines for boric acid, Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate (DOT) 20%, EDTA chelates, zinc suspension and other speciality plant nutrition products, expanding the company's manufacturing capacity and operational capabilities.

Cropex makes speciality fertilisers, micronutrients and biostimulants aimed at improving nutrient use efficiency, crop health and stress tolerance in plants. Several of its formulations have received organic-use approval from IMO Control, an internationally recognised certification agency.

The company said the new facility would help it meet growing domestic and international demand for value-added agricultural inputs, as the speciality fertiliser and plant nutrition industry expands on the back of rising demand for higher agricultural productivity, balanced nutrient management and precision agriculture. Cropex said it aims to further grow its presence in both domestic and international markets going forward.
